Balraj and his team have been first top class and honest on time everything you want from a builder. The guys also managed to accommodate around my work from home meetings which was a real life saver. Work was great, finishing is good, warranty provided and the guys were always on hand to answer any questions I had of which there were quite a few given the scale of the project.

We were let down by the insurance companies who didn’t bother to finish the work but the guys at Affix were a breath of fresh air. Got in contact with Affix on bark who got us in touch with their plasterer Ian. Came and quoted the work. Work was carried out promptly and he did a fantastic job. 

Bal and the team were great in guiding us from planning to party wall to finishing the project. Work was falling behind a little but got it done within the deadline. Bal was willing to give me the time to talk through the development of our conversion as it advanced, alerting me to, and dealing with the inevitable unforeseen problems of a century old house. Overall good experience.

While I didn’t feel we had huge amounts of help in doing the designs, everything else was good. We started removal of 2 structural supporting beams, then converting the garage into a utility room + games room, and refitting the kitchen and tiling the kitchen/dining room floors. Bal’s team are efficient, hard working, easy to work with. His team of contractors (plumber, electricians, plasterers, tilers etc) all did a great job as well.

This was our third project with Affix. Their recent two-story extension gave us more space and an extra bedroom. They kept us informed, which was helpful with kids around, but managing noise was a challenge. Looks amazing and the team were excellent and good honest people to have a chat with.

Bal & Co were fantastic! They got the job done quickly, and their team was not only clean and tidy but also super friendly. They took care of everything, from scheduling to coordinating with building control. Their regular updates on progress were a huge help, especially when we needed to plan around noisy days while working from home. Plus, they were always responsive and accommodating with our questions and requests.
